2019 Youth Arts EXPLOSION … Moving Full STEAM Ahead! At The Kennedy Center

The Reston Chapter of The Links, Incorporated and The Washington, DC Chapter of The Society, Incorporated co-sponsor a biennial “Youth Arts Showcase Explosion … Full STEAM Ahead” event in collaboration with the DC School and Community Initiatives Education Division of The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. This year, six exceptionally talented African American high school seniors, from the DMV area, will showcase their talents on The Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage. Each competing student will receive a scholarship award toward their education and career in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM). In addition, separate intensive workshops will be held for students and parents to provide guidance on achieving a successful college experience, as well as paving the way to a successful performing career.Click here to edit text
